The design location is the mountainous part of Zebegény in northern Hungary, which offers a unique view of the Danube Bend. The settlement fabric here is relatively loose, the infrastructure is at a very low level in accordance with the agricultural zone, and this also gives the attractiveness of this place with rich vegetation and a minimal built environment. We wanted to preserve this world with the house with a mid-century modern spirit.

The building found its place on the plot quite simply and clearly. Due to its considerable width, it was possible to place it parallel to the road on the level lines, which was also justified by the strong slope, and thus the functions can all turn towards the view.

In terms of its architectural appearance, the house has a simple design, which continues the rich wooden architectural traditions of the settlement, which it tries to express in a contemporary way, adapted to the mass formation and the transparent opening order. For this purpose, a narrow vertical pine covering is placed on the house.
