A market is a dynamic and complex organism made up of simple, distinctive elements. Our aim was to create a varied system using contemporary tools, inspired by existing structures.

Key reinterpretations include:

• Arches: Evolving from mere openings to multifunctional niches and furniture.

• Materials: Enlarging terrazzo paving with vibrant colors for a lively ambiance.

• Spatial Structure: Respecting the existing, sometimes chaotic layout, we embraced its geometry, giving rise to a market-like atmosphere.

These elements create coherence within the versatile system. At the center, the ancient Roman theater features a modest, predominantly white environment. By opening the roof, natural light now illuminates the space, with a simple white mesh reflecting light, serving as a backdrop for the theater's ruins and abstractly representing a theater curtain.
